Literacy lays the foundation learning. In our homeroom class we intentionally practice writing, grammar, and spelling within a literacy block. From 8:50-9:10 we have spelling, directly after that we have grammar on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays our class practices oratory, or the skill of speaking in front of others. at 9:35-10:10 daily we have writing.
