Help your child find a just right book by finding his or her Lexile. Lexile helps parents, teachers, and students find a just right book through the use of a Lexile Measure. A Lexile Measure tells what level a student is, and what level a book is to help children find a Just Right book. It is helpful for children to read Just Right books for a number of reasons.
- Students should not be reading books that are too hard and they cannot understand.
- Children should not be reading books that are too easy and will not help them to improve reading skills.
